Commissioner H.E. Ambassador Teshome Toga, held discussion with H.E. Ambassador KANG Seokhee

Commissioner to NRC H.E. Ambassador Teshome Toga discussed with H.E. Ambassador KANG Seokhee Ambassador of the Republic of South Korea to the FDRE, and explained on the Commission mandate, its DDR program and activities since its establishment in November 2022, the challenges so far, partnership and cooperation both at local and international level. Reminding the on going South Korean development support in Tigray and Amhara regions, on his side, H.E. Ambassador KANG Seokhee stressed on South Korean positive concern and due attention to the peace process in settling conflicts in Ethiopia and deep appreciation for the Federal Government and TPLF’s peace agreement, as well political commitment on both sides. Continuing his discussion, H.E. Ambassador KANG Seokhee, affirmed that, he will communicate the case to his government as to how to consolidate the partnership and cooperation with NRC, in supporting the on going DDR program. Mean while, H.E. Ambassador KANG Seokhee, addressed, marking the 60th year of diplomatic relation between Ethiopia and the Republic of South Korea.
